Abode uses AI to identify items from photos you take. While our AI performs well in most conditions, scan results are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Accuracy depends on factors including:

• Image clarity and lighting
• Whether items are obscured, overlapping, or partially visible
• The diversity and branding of items in the frame
• The AI model's knowledge of specific products

You should always review AI-generated results before relying on them. Abode provides item identification as a convenience tool to reduce manual effort — it is not a substitute for your own verification.

Scanning may take varying amounts of time depending on the number of items, image complexity, and current service load.

2. Recipe and Grocery Suggestions

Recipe ideas, cocktail suggestions, and grocery lists generated by Abode are based on the inventory data in your account and are for informational and convenience purposes only. They are not dietary, nutritional, medical, or professional advice.

Always check:

• Allergens — AI suggestions may not account for allergies or dietary restrictions unless explicitly configured
• Expiry dates — Abode does not currently track or verify that items are still in date
• Quantities — estimated quantities from scanning may not be exact
• Dietary requirements — consult a qualified professional for dietary or health guidance

Vavyan accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated recipe or grocery suggestions.

3. Service Provided "As Is"

Abode is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

4. No Professional Advice

Nothing in Abode constitutes professional advice of any kind. If you require guidance on dietary needs, health conditions, allergens, or any other matter where professional input is appropriate, consult a qualified professional.

5. Third-Party Services

Abode integrates with third-party services including AI model providers, payment processors, and authentication services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vavyan disclaims any and all liability for any losses or damages of any kind arising from your use of Abode, reliance on AI-generated content, or any service interruption. See our Terms of Service for the full limitation of liability.
